Morry Alaka Anotta, DNP, FNP
Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Morry is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner credentialed by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages.
Morry earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at Milwaukee School of Engineering- school of Nursing, WI and Masters of Science degrees in Nursing at Washington States University, WA. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Loma Linda University earning the President’s award, the most prestigious award the school offers. She has worked as registered nurse within the Providence Health services, as a family Nurse Practitioner at a private clinic in Portland, OR and has also served in an urgent care- walk-in clinic at the Oregon coast.
Morry speaks the two common Ethiopian languages, Amharic and Oromo in addition to English. She has been to several mission trips helping the vulnerable population in our world. Her goal in her career is to meet patients where they are and helping them gain their health back. Morry believes that every patient is capable of improving and maintaining their health with the right kind of education, empowerment and strong patient-provider relationship. She also believes that the provider’s responsibility is to provide support for the patient. Morry focuses on health promotion, and lifestyle modification to improve her patient’s overall quality of life by working along side the patient. She believes in both conventional and integrative medicine for optimal health outcome.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, reading books, playing the piano, traveling on mission trips, and hiking.
